About the Farm:

Dave Dolan and his family own a 300-acre organic farm, growing wheat, rye, oats, alfalfa, and corn, and raise 200 dairy heifers. They also rent another 200 acres nearby, with 150 acres in crops and 50 acres of pasture. Dolan Farms has been certified organic since 2006.

On how his management has changed since participating in the Uplands Watershed Group, Dave says, "I'm definitely more cautious about soil erosion. I’ve reduced tillage, and I am more careful about when I spread manure. Generally, I’m more aware of what I'm doing and when I’m doing it."
